After being a Church of England student between 1992-1998 and attending this church on a regular basis for school plays and then being away for 30 odd years it was a strange feeling to be back but I was warmly welcomed, it's a real church and the only one I'll get back to when I can. It's full of nice people. It's beautiful how children get blessed on stage where I once was. The choir singing can sometimes cause me to well up. I know that if I can't make it in person that I'll attend online but it's so much better in person, that way you get the full experience and have a chat and a tea or coffee afterwards.

All Saints is a 12th Century grade 1 listed building and well worth a visit. It was damaged by a fire started by suffragettes circa 1914 and reopened in 1916 after repairs. It is the burial place of Erasmus Darwin, famous 18th Century physician, and Lunar Society member. The Church graveyard is fascinating to explore.
